“Vinterljus” A single candle can light up in the dark

“Ljus i mörkret”
This holiday season I will have my studio decked out in warm lights & filled with fragrant arrangements that will fill the room. In Sweden this time of year, we start to make our houses warmer, cozier and add a lot of extra lights & candles, because the days are growing darker for each day. We love to gift flowers & candles, ornaments & food & drinks, all making us look forward to the joy of this upcoming season. We gather & drink small cups of Glögg, the spiced mulled wine & eat a crazy amount of gingerbread cookies.
Lucia & her Stjärngosse
This year I will have some handmade gnomes/tomtar and traditional Lucia’s that comes from Skandinavisk Hemslöjd, made just outside Stockholm. They will be introduced at the Scandinavian Clubs Holiday Market on December 5th, and if any are left they will be for sale in my pop up shop “ Holiday Surroundings” later in December.
