Weddings season is here!

Themes can be a fun idea, but also take a lot of energy out of you to fulfill. Make sure you have time, and have friends that can help you. I am happy to discuss, and we’ll see how to best go ahead.

What kind of venue are you looking for, we need to make sure the flowers fit in and right.

I have been to many of the local venues, and know how to best work with them. I work in Connecticut, and also Westchester County. I am happy to meet you there and we can discuss how to make your wedding look fantastic.

Do you want a sunny early spring wedding, full of Tulips, Lilacs, Peonies & Lily of the Valley? Or a steamy summer, wedding full of Hydrangeas or a crispy fall wedding day, where freshly harvested Dahlias will be the show stopper? A frosty winter wedding with a soft snowfall & Amaryllis & Helleborus? Your favorite flower might decide what season you’ll need to find your wedding date. Remember that May, June, September & October are the most popular wedding months here on the east coast. Plan accordingly to the weather, always have a Plan B. I do! Some dates become more popular than others, so make sure you book your vendors early.

How do you decide your florist for your wedding?

So you are suddenly engaged, and your brain quickly gets scrambled by dreams, planning & millions of questions. There are ways to make it a little easier, to get to check off some of those “ must have”. Maybe you already have had this picture in your head a long time, what you would carry down the aisle when that day comes, or maybe you are one of many, who has NO CLUE what to do. Then you need to find a vendor that you feel you “click” with, that you feel trust for, and that can guide you through the process. You need someone who listens, but who also is someone who might be brutally honest and might shut down some of your ideas, incase they are to extreme! I have helped a lot of couples through the years, making decisions on how to best implement their ideas, and make their wedding day look perfect. For me, that personal connection is the most important part, this should be YOUR wedding, no perfect copy of something you’ve seen on Instagram or TikTok, not something an influencer somewhere in the world says it’s a must. It’s about YOU & your partner, it’s your family & your friends and that’s what we have to remember. Also, a wedding is something that brings two families together, make sure to listen to both sides, so that the outcome is a celebration for all of you. A marriage is to be able to give & take, in good and in bad, so sometimes we have to compromise. Wedding plans are a lot about compromise. I also feel it is easy today to forget that this wedding is ONE DAY OF YOUR WHOLE LIFE together. Remember that. Be smart. Be wise where you spend your money. Make it matter. Give yourself time to save enough to be able to have what you want. You can ask me what your budget will get you, how we best plan for these $$$ to be spent, to make the most of it. You don’t know how to make a budget for your flowers? That’s fine, most couples don’t and we will figure it out together. I have decades of experience, and I have a few ideas that I happily share with you. I work with any budget, as long as you are ready for my recommendations. Let’s meet in person here at my studio in Fairfield or over a zoom depending on where you live, and we’ll start to make a plan, that we can work with these next couple of months before your wedding day. Can’t wait to meet you!
